New Health Partnerships was pleased to offer the second in a free informational calls series Sharing and Spreading: Lessons from New Health Partnerships. This call, The Role of Patients and Families in Patient Self-Management and Ambulatory Improvement took place on Monday, September, 17, 2007 from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm ET. Faculty included Arnold Goldberg, MD, and Claudia Moten, a doctor-patient team who offered insight into their experience of utilizing patient and family advisors as an integral component of an office practice improvement team. The call was facilitated by James Conway, Senior Vice President at the Institute for Healthcare Improvement and a leading voice for patient and family-centered care.
In this one-hour call, we heard from experts who have been successfully incorporating patient advisors into their office practice improvement teams.
